Laura Keenan
pupil
Call: 2021
Laura joined FOURTEEN as a pupil in October 2021 and has been authorised to practise as a pupil barrister since April 2022. Laura has been supervised by Mandy Tanner and Michael Glaser QC. Throughout her pupillage, Laura has seen cases on all areas of family law, including complex finance cases, private children law (including cases with international elements) and public children law.
Prior to joining Chambers, Laura was a paralegal at Hughes Fowler Carruthers, a top boutique London law firm specialising in complicated high-net-worth divorce and covering all aspects of family law. Laura was also a paralegal at Forsters, a leading Mayfair law firm where she had conduct of some of her own smaller cases under the firm’s partners. During her years as a paralegal, Laura worked closely with vulnerable clients and high-net-worth individuals alike. She built up substantial experience at conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and various court documents. Laura also volunteered with the National Centre for Domestic Violence, where she drafted witness statements on behalf of complainants of domestic abuse.
