Eleanor joined FOURTEEN in February 2021 having successfully completed her pupillage under the supervision of Michael Glaser QC, Mandy Tanner and David Sharp, during which time she assisted in Hertfordshire County Council v AK and another  EWHC 139 (Fam), a case concerning deprivation of liberty orders. Eleanor is developing a broad practice across the full spectrum of Chambers’ expertise and welcomes instructions in all areas of family law.
Prior to joining FOURTEEN, Eleanor worked at two specialist family law firms where she gained first-hand experience of high net worth financial remedy and private children matters. During the BPTC, she volunteered as a student adviser at the BPP Family Legal Advice Clinic, offering advice to clients on a range of family matters.
Eleanor also worked at the Infected Blood Inquiry, where she played a leading role in creating the Inquiry’s policies and processes around redactions, and was a principal point of contact to designated legal representatives and Inquiry witnesses. Eleanor is currently instructed as junior counsel to the Inquiry, led by Jenni Richards QC.
Eleanor is actively involved in the mentoring of young people from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds. She is an ADR-ODR International accredited Civil-Commercial Mediator.
