Judgment has today been handed down by the Court of Appeal in a case in which Chris Stevenson successfully appealed against findings of fact made at first instance. The case raises an important issue of principle about the proper approach to the identification of a perpetrator in circumstances where children have suffered significant harm as a result of alleged ill-treatment.
